Following certain reports regarding an alleged theft of cryptocurrency from a passenger at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) immediately probed the matter in coordination with the Airport Security Force (ASF) and police authorities.After a detailed review of the CCTV footage and official records, it has been confirmed that no such incident occurred at JIAP.
As per the police report, an individual named Mr. Faizyab filed a petition in court, claiming that four uniformed persons took him to a room, seized his mobile phone, and accessed his passwords to steal cryptocurrency valued at USD 850,000.
