Asif Ali Zardari is a Pakistani politician and the co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He was born on July 26, 1955, in Karachi, Pakistan. He is the husband of Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, and the son-in-law of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founder of PPP.
After the tragic death of Benazir Bhutto in 2007, Zardari became the leader of the PPP. He served as the 11th President of Pakistan from 2008 to 2013. During his presidency, he worked to strengthen democracy and transfer powers from the president to the parliament.
Although his career has faced criticism and corruption allegations, Zardari remains a key figure in Pakistani politics and continues to influence national decisions through his party.
