Life Story

1. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was born in 1817 in Delhi, India.

2. He was a great educator, reformer, and writer who worked for the progress of Muslims in India.

3. After the 1857 War of Independence, he encouraged Muslims to gain modern education.

4. He founded the Aligarh Movement and established the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College (later Aligarh Muslim University).

5. His efforts helped awaken the Muslim community and paved the way for the creation of Pakistan.
